Question!! So I was wondering, when it comes to English,do you guys rather to talk to native speakers or ? Is there any favourite accents you have ? What do you do for improving your pronunciation ?😀

Estefania, I think it is easier to understand Russian from Romance (particularly French) perspective. It is easier for you or for a German than it is for an English speaker. There are some analogous constructions ("me gusto"). English is easier for you or for a German than Russian. There is certain phonetical similarity between Russian and Irish. (your question was addressed to Mihimao actually, but I hope she'll give her answer too:))

Hi Mihimao. For improving my pronunciation I watch netflix series in english with subtitles also in english. And I try not to talk only to natives, but anyone with whom I can practice. I dont want to have a specific accent, wheter american, british or australian, I try to try them all, and it will automatically build my own accent.

native or non-native it is difficult to find any serious person to practice with him/her. some times you find someone and you are not at same level, sometime there is a time zone barrier. Once I found a guy from Peru who was very serious to practice but usually when I was awake he was asleep and vice versa. there are so many cultural, religious English proficiency level and ... barriers that makes it really difficult to find the right person to practice with specially someone from other part of the world.

As a native russian speaker I don't find it difficult at all , but the grammar and the gender thing is a little bit tricky ! 😀 Speaking of which some of my friends who learn russian find it difficult to memorize the gender ! Like in French language nous have gender we do have exactly the same in russian language , the pronunciation shouldn't be difficult to ya because you speak Spanish 😊
