Learning by cooking

Doing something fun in your target language always supports the learning progress. I love cooking, baking and trying out dishes from other countries. Therefore, I’d like to share some interesting resources with you.

Learn French and Italian with The Languages Kitchen: <a href="https://thelanguageskitchen.com/" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;">https://thelanguageskitchen.com</a>;

BIlingual food blog  Cocina Dominicana in Spanish and English: <a href="https://www.cocinadominicana.com/" style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">https://www.cocinadominicana.com/</a>;

Chefkoch, the most popular German recipe database: <a href="https://www.chefkoch.de/" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;">https://www.chefkoch.de/</a>;

Zuofan, a Chinese recipe database: <a href="http://m.zuofan.cn/" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;">http://m.zuofan.cn/</a>;

Do you know other websites for learning languages via cooking, bilingual food bloggers, or just inspiring food bloggers and recipe databases in your target or native languages?

Edit: I’d like to add a couple of interesting cooking websites.

I would recommend this guy for Czech cuisine: <a href="https://www.cuketka.cz/" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">https://www.cuketka.cz/</a>;

He started off as a blogger and has now become something of a celebrity. He calls himself Pan Cuketka (Mr Zucchini).

For Japanese cuisine, my favorite is

For Chinese cuisine, my favorite is

<a href="https://www.xiachufang.com/">https://www.xiachufang.com/</a>;

Also, I l basically earned how to cook from watching Youtube videos.

Apart from much beloved Youtubers such as runnyrunny999, cookingwithdog, maanchi and so on, there are several less well known channels I'd like to recommend.

Wang gang: a formal professional chef who teaches authentic Chinese dishes

MASA: a Japanese chef based in Taiwan who teaches Japanese,  modified western dishes (Wafu yoshoku), as well as practical cooking tips
