I hope these are helpful for you. Don't hesitate to ask me, if you have any further questions. If you want that other users can send you private messages, you should switch your contact permissions from in your privacy settings from "friends only" to "anyone". But be careful whom to respond to because there are also users who just try to flirt and unfortunately there are scammers.
But I find italki extremely helpful for language learning. I found great teachers, met a lot of friends via interesting discussions about language and culture and received a lot of precious feedback for my notebook entries.
We don't have many users from Cambodia here. It would be great if you could tell us more about your country and language. :)
