Do you ever have days when you don't want to learn your target language, and just turn off your brain? I've been studying for sometime, but I find it very interesting that I have days when I don't want to hear the language I'm learning. What do you do to keep going and stay motivated?

I don't listen to anything when I don't want to do. I don't write anything when I don't want to do. I do nothing. Soon or later, about a week later, somehow 'something' makes me want to study, then I start to listen and write again. I don't know what 'something' is. It might be 'love' for the language. I can't let it go.

Well I wouldn't say that sometimes I "don't want to hear the language I'm learning" because I really love the sounds of Japanese and Chinese but I totally have days when I don't want to study because I feel like a failure and it makes me cranky which is every day  I don't do anything to stay motivated, for me it's about getting things done, not about motivation.
