Let's talk strange habits

Hey everyone!

Let's talk about strange habits around the world.

As for Israel you can see some people take a cup of coffee as they get out of home. They go with it on the streets, standing at bus stations gulping their coffee and even take this marvelous thing to their cars!

I live in Israel more than 20 years and yet to me this is a strange thing. Like.... I mean....what, there is not enough time to do it at home sitting comfortably on sofa...

I don't get it.

And how about you?

I do this.
It is not a habit. The NORM is that you don't take your cup of tea out. But sometimes when I'm having my tea and my freind is leaving and I want to accompany him/her or my guest proposes to go buy some cake I search for a reason not totake my tea with me, I fail to find it, I put on my shoes, I take my tea and we go.

Our strange habit is never doing this I think:)

Some time ago I went to cinema, I hadn't been to the cinema for some years, and I was surprised to see people entering the hall with food and drinks. The moment the film started, everyone began to chew and some chewed until the film was over. Is it a new habit, I wonder?

P.S. The film was not boring!

Ludmila, in Israel it's a norm as there are different kinds of snacks and drinks being sold in cinemas. Like French fries (or chips), popcorn, ice cream, coffee, Pepsi and things like this.

@Lilih Tim, it seems it is your first comment on the site. Welcome!

Here some young people drink alcohol in the street and some other people consider it bad manners.

But I like enjoying views or watching sunrise when drinking. I don't enjoy drinking at home that much.
