What are 3 top languages to learn to become more successful in our career?

I now my mother tongue and my English isn't bad. But it's a while I'm thinking of another one or two more languages to learn? Now to put long time on learning a new one, I'm not sure which one is the best choice.

I think there is a lot of demand for Arabic translations to and from English, and your Persian vocabulary should give you a start. It might be good to look for a language where not so many people are dual fluent in English, so I'd avoid Spanish and German for example.

@Phil You summed up what was going to say, but ingloriously failed due to lack of verbal dexterity.

On second thoughts it would be too difficult for you, bearing in mind your mother tongue is Farsi..

There’s no one answer that works for everyone. Otherwise, you could just google it. Actually, you probably can google it, but the answers will be nonsense. People always seek answers, but you need to ask the right questions first. What’s your career? Why “three” languages? If it’s about budgeting your time and energy, I’d suggest that if you already know Persian and English, you can learn three Indo-European languages in the time it would take to learn a non-Indo-European language such as Chinese. Over a billion people speak Chinese, but you might be better off learning Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German in around the same amount of time. Honestly, though, if you’re only learning a language for your career, it’s going to be hard. Out of curiosity, what was your experience learning English — did you enjoy it?
