Some Days Start Out Bad
I never know what to expect when my alarm goes off in the morning.

Of course, I have my routine.
I let the dog out.
I start the coffee.
I shave and take a shower.

My wife and I drink coffee in bed every day for 30 minutes.

Each morning begins this way.

After this morning routine, life isn't so predictable.
Most days are good days.
Full of laughter and good food.

I have nothing to complain about.

However, some days don't start out well at all.

There are sadness and pain.
Heartache.
Longing.

It is on the bad days that I am reminded of how grateful I am for the life that I live.
