There are many places to visit, but to meet people is other thing:

If you do a part of "Camino de Santiago" you can meet interesant people because it is a special route.

There are a lot of people from abroad walking along: some people do because a religius cause, others because a personal challengue, others for visit different places...

Valencia is also special, I recommend you. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. That sounds like a great way to learn a language. For me, I enjoy learning Spanish, but the main reason I'm doing it is to make travelling easier (I am planning to go to Colombia in August). So I guess I will stick to combining the two. Thanks for the help everyone :)

Viajar para aprender es fantástico.  Seguro que lo pasas fenomenal, además, Andalucía es preciosa.

Pero, si tu objetivo es aprender, quizá puedas plantearte otras opciones como estar en casa de tu profesor. La conversación continua en español está garantizada.

Learning by travelling is great.  I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself, besides, Andalusia is wonderful.

But, it your main goal is learning, you may better think other options such as living at your teacher's. Continuous Spanish conversation is granted.

Yes, thereis "Feria" in Andalucia. Sevilla (capital of Andalucia) will be "on party" these days. It's a great opportunity to feel the real spanish atmosphere.
