I just can't understand some people on Italki.
Imagine you do something on the site and suddenly you got a message of the following content: "Hi".
You think wow, a person wants to talk with me and answer "Hi how are you?"
He/she answers "I'm fine"
You say something like "Do you need some help with learning languages or something else?"
He/she says "Yes".
And after that person keeps silence and take absolutely no initnative!
So why do they start a conversation if they actually don't give a shit?!
I absolutely agree with you, Dmitry. You are not along that things like this. My feeling is that the people just sort of afraid of direct conversation. But on the other hand I understand them. You know, it's not that easy to start talking to person you have nothing in common with. That's my opinion.
But why do u think so much about it? Just forget and dont think about such people)

Maybe they just started learning the language and don't know how to continue the conversation, lol.
Just kidding. I really don't know why but I think it's funny.
There are just people who are not born as a conversationalist and all they can do is to try by saying hi but they just can't go on maybe because they are not confident in conversing or maybe they can't express their thoughts in English or language you are speaking.
