Forgetfulness

Occasionally, I have a problem recalling some simple words. It occurs to me when I speak, and it's really annoying, when I'm getting stuck for a moment just because I've forgot some minor word. When I'm reading or listening, I never have problems with those everyday words.

Could it be the lack of speaking experience? Speaking practice is the only cure?

It happens to me in my native language.  I'm sure it's not because of my age, but we have so much going on in our heads at the same time that sometimes a little word just won't surface.

Of course , practice is the only cure. Odds are, the more you need it , the more you will remember it. You are not likely to remember a word you don't use often. Language comes with practice.
