I've been thinking about what stories news agencies decide are worth publishing. Then Irene wrote this http://www.italki.com/entry/435896 about the news in Spain. So now I want to know what you from other countries all think about the news in your countries?

Hola, "decide are worth publishing" se podría traducir mejor por "deciden que merece la pena publicar".
In Spanish "are worth" is translated how "vale la pena" o "merece la pena" in that context. It means something is good and we can do an effort for them.
