'used to' and 'to be used to' in English

A student recently asked me about making sentences with 'used to'.  They asked me, "Is it okay to say, 'We were used to talk every day'?"  I addressed this issue in a blog post with a video and a PDF worksheet (http://goo.gl/PVZdix).

Is this explanation clear?  Do you have any questions?  I would be happy to help.

Yes, 'used to' means something in the past that isn't true now or that doesn't happen anymore.  However, 'to be used to' can also mean a habit in the past, present or future:

I was used to staying out late. (past)

I am used to working on computers. (present)

I will get used to living abroad. (future)

does "used to" means as something in the past that won't be happened again or only happened in the past  (eg: he used to be small. but now he is very tall) ? and, "to be used to" means like a habit that always a doer did in the past.(eg, i'm used to driving on the right while i was in uk, but i'm driving on the left now). is it true?
