I'm a Supernatural fan ! Makes me learn american english ( and it's slang side ) through nine seasons of pure awesomness, and it's still ongoing. Two beautiful brothers chasing supernatural things, nice cars, nice girls, demons, angels, vengeance, apocalypse, prophets, action, humor that will make you die of laugther and desesperate situations that will make you want to rip your heart out - That's truly everything anyone should need :)

Being a second-language English speaker I must say, that the Gilmore Girls are a treasure trove of

English language. In my opinion, US-English is much harder to understand than British English. I like the comedians John Cleese and Co. as well as French and Saunders. The Gilmore Girls are full of idioms and word plays and altough I am not really into such young girls series, I enjoyed it really and found it intellectually quite appealing.

Hi Debbie,

I'm Juliana from Brazil.
I try this method too because I can improve my vocabulary and my listening. About the best serie (I'm completely love for tv series) I have many options for myself but I really like FRIENDS and CHUCK (the vocabulary of the series are really great), EVERWOOD (it's a drama but it's one of my favorite), ONE TREE HILL (it's a drama too).

Well, I mentioned this series because of the dialogues I really think that you can learn some expressions in this way.

P.S: sorry about my english writting, I'm still learning.
