Conditional -ばform:
I have taken some notes recently and I would like to share them with you.
Foreigners when learn Japanese, they will learn about the division of verbs into three groups. I used group 1, 2 and three, but there are other names that you are familiar with. It doesn't matter.

○う → ○えば
○く → ○けば
○ぐ → ○げば
○す → ○せば
○つ → ○てば
○ぬ → ○ねば
○ぶ → ○べば
○む → ○めば
○る → ○れば
かう → かえば
かく → かけば
およぐ → およげば
はなす → はなせば
まつ → まてば
しぬ → しねば
あそぶ → あそべば
よむ → よめば
かえる → かえれば

○る → ○れば
みる → みれば
たべる → たべれば
<Verbs from Group 3>
する → すれば
くる → くれば
<Others>
N → Nならば
Nではない → Nでなければ
Aい → Aければ
Aくない → Aくなければ
AN → ANならば
ANではない → ANでなければ
Vない → Vなければ
本ほん → 本ほんならば
本ほんではない → 本ほんでなければ
あつい → あつければ
あつくない → あつくなければ
すき → すきならば
すきではない → すきでなければ
かわない → かわなければ
The adjective「いい」becomes「よければ」.
The negative form of「ある」,「ない」becomes「なければ」.
In most cases for N (nouns) and AN (adjectival nouns), 「ば」is dropped, resulting in the forms「Nなら」and「ANなら」.
Note:
● ば形は活用形の一つ。
The ばform is one form of conditional conjugation.
● ば形は次のように使われる。
The ばform is used as in the following examples:
【Example 1】 インターネットを使つかえば、行いきたい場所ばしょの地図ちずが簡単かんたんに見みられる。
【Example 2】 川かわの水みずがきれいになれば、きっと魚さかなも増ふえるだろう。
【Example 3】 山やまは、高たかければ高たかいほど、空気くうきが薄うすくなる。
【Example 4】 ○○さんは80才さいだがとても元気げんきで、山やまにも登のぼれば、水泳すいえいもする。
●「Nであれば」「ANであれば」という言いい方かたもあるが、やや改あらたまった表現ひょうげんになる。
Although「Nであれば」and「ANであれば」are used, they are slightly formal expressions.
