It might be nice to yearn for a better life, but what is a better life? Having money? Being rich? Or just having good friends around you?

I have very little money but I have friends so I cannot improve this. I yearn for nothing.

You are lucky to have a computer and italki. You are lucky to get this chance to gain security and good food and maybe decent housing for yourself and your family. I hope that learning English can help you.

Sophie, I have to agree with you also.  However, I would still like a lot of money.  No one need no.  I wouldn't advertise, just enjoy.  I could be a bum with pocket change.

I agree with Jack and Garry. No need to look for money . After all we are all running after the same goal : hapiness and well being. So you are not alone!You must be more confident , optimistic and hopeful to have a fresh start .

Trust me, the top is not really the top.  It is plastic and disparaging.  If I won the lottery I would dawn my backpack and just travel.  Meet people, immerse in cultures, eat at greasy spoons, bunk on the floor then travel some more.
