Inspiration for Learning/Practicing Languages

When I first started learning Spanish, I was only learning grammar and vocabulary, without using the people part of the language and communicating. I always wanted to practice my language skills with natives, but whenever I heard Spanish, I felt too scared to practice because I thought I would get words and phrases wrong. Then, I found a Youtube channel by the name of laoshu505000(http://www.youtube.com/user/laoshu505000 is the link) which opened my eyes. This man named Moses McCormick, a language teacher, goes to malls and restaurants, just to practice language. He has more than 50 languages such as Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Arabic, Somali, French, and Spanish under his belt, though he is not fluent in most of them. If he ever sees a person speaking another language, he will jump in and have a conversation with them. This taught me that practicing languages with natives can be fun and exciting and inspired me to practice my Spanish with natives for the first time. Now, whenever I hear Spanish in public, I practice. If you are looking for some inspiration, I suggest you check Moses's channel and I want to know what your inspiration for learning/practicing a foreign language was/is.

I think if you try to collect some Spanish drama movies and watch them with translation files whould be more effective.
