Will you meet your language partners in real life?

There are so many foreigners in different countries. I raised a question recently.

Will you really meet your language partners if you are in the same district or in the same city?

As I know, some in italki posted a notebook or a discussion to look for a language partner who is in the same city and able to meet.

I have never met any one of mine partners because we are not in the same city. I wonder if you do.

Please leave your comment. Thanks.

Finding someone who is speaking the language you're trying to learn and lives in your district is not very likely to happen. it's possible though!

I met my language partner last year in Beijing. I was really happy to get a chance to speak Japanese in person and he got a free guide.

For English partner, I think it's easy to meet. For other languages, it's not so easy to find such one.

I'm learning Spainsh only for my interest, haven't find a regular practice partner yet.
