This is a complex question. Both answers have pros and cons. However, I think family business has more advantages than the alternative. In a family business, everybody knows each other very well. Every member of the business tries to increase profits. Firstly, a family business is a delicate situation and it should be handled smartly. It’s advantage is that every business member feels motivated to improve their company’s income. They know that if they work hard, they will be making a greater profit since this is their own company. Secondly, in these kinds of companies family members know each other very well; so they have better insight of each other's abilities and capabilities. Being emotionally invested in each other, they show respect for each other's opinions and appreciate one another's efforts so much more than a stranger's. They feel compelled to upgrade their companies for the good of all family members. In conclusion, I feel that I would like to work in a family business because every body would most likely give their best effort to achieve something great in this jointly owned company. Can you imagine a family company which is founded by people who neglect their own business?
