Last week I watched an Amazon's Prime movie called Sylvie's Love. It's a 2020 film and it's directed by Eugene Ashe. The movie's genre is Romantic and characters are Sylvie and Robert. The film is set in New York in 1950s. Robert is a talented jazz saxophonist. He plays in a group called Dickie Brewster Quartet but he also work as a salesman in a Harlem record shop. He meet Sylvie, she's the shop owner's daughter. She's a keen T.V. shows and dreams of working as a T.V producer. The two start dating despite she was engaged. Meanwhile Robert have to travel for Paris with his group. Sylvie finds out she's pregnant so she decides not leave because she doesn't want to hinder Robert's success. Five years later they meet again in NY. She is married with her old boyfriend and works as a production's assistant of a cooking show. Afterwards Sylvie leaves her husband and she goes to leave with Robert. Robert leaves the group and loses his job. Meanwhile he's cheated by a friend so he decides to leave her because he feels unable to support his family. At the end of movie Sylvie discover the reason about Robert departure and she joins him in Detroit so they come back to being a family. About this movie i like typical costumes of the 50s, jazz music and Sylvie's character because despite the difficulties she realize her dreams.

Last week I watched an Amazon's Prime movie called Sylvie's Love. It's a 2020 film (and it's) directed by Eugene Ashe. The movie's genre is Romantic (It's a romance) and the main characters are Sylvie and Robert. The film is set in New York in the 1950s. Robert is a talented jazz saxophonist. He plays in a group called the Dickie Brewster Quartet but he also work as a salesman in a Harlem record shop. He meets Sylvie, who is the shop owner's daughter. She's keen on (she adores) T.V. shows and dreams of working as a T.V producer. The two start dating despite the fact that she is engaged. Meanwhile Robert has to travel for Paris with his group. Sylvie finds out she's pregnant so she decides not to leave (?? not to go .. where?) because she doesn't want to hinder Robert's success. Five years later they meet again in NY. She is married to her old boyfriend and works as a production assistant at a cooking show. Afterwards Sylvie leaves her husband and she goes to live with Robert. Robert leaves the group and loses his job. Meanwhile he's cheated by a friend (UNCLEAR) so he decides to leave Sylvie because he feels unable to support his family. At the end of the movie Sylvie discovers the reason for Robert's departure and she joins him in Detroit so they come back to being a family. What did I like about this movie? I liked the typical costumes of the 50s, the jazz music and Sylvie's character because despite difficulties, she realizes her dreams.
