Written Exercise 47 - Night Owls, It Is Time To Change! Often staying up late is not only a bad habit but also an unhealthy lifestyle. I have been staying up late since the end of last year. The night before last, I did not go to bed until 2AM. Yesterday morning, I woke up at 7am but I did not get up until noon. I counted that I only had 16 records of going to bed before 11pm in the past 3 months. I realized that I was in an unhealthy lifestyle. I said to myself that I should change from now on and I need to get my healthy lifestyle back again. It so happened that I watched a TV programme this afternoon, which talked about the topic of” How to protect our livers”. An invited doctor of traditional Chinese medicine on the TV programme said that it was important to go to bed early or go to bed before 11pm because our livers worked and recovered from 11pm to 2pm, so we needed to rest before 11pm. The doctor also said that it was important to stop drinking. Last night, I did follow the health advice I made (More detail please take a look at the <Written Exercise 45 - Health Advice We Should Take>. Although I did not go to bed before, I did 1.5 hours earlier than I used to. Tonight, I will do as the doctor said. How about you?

Written Exercise 47 - Night Owls, It Is Time To Change! Often (I wouldn’t say « often » here) staying up late is not only a bad habit but also an unhealthy lifestyle. I have been staying up late since the end of last year. The night before last, I did not go to bed until 2AM. Yesterday morning, I woke up at 7am, but I did not get up until noon. I counted that I only had / I counted only 16 instances of going to bed before 11pm in the past 3 months (I don’t think I really hear « record » used like this often) I realized that I had (it was probably fine before but I think this is more natural) an unhealthy lifestyle. I said to/told myself that I needed to change (from now on) (I think this is unnecessary) and get my healthy lifestyle back again. It so happened that I watched a TV program this afternoon that (use “that” if the next part is necessary to the meaning of the sentence) talked about the topic of” How to protect our livers”. The guest on the TV program, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, said that it was important to go to bed early or go to bed before 11pm because our livers work and recover from 11pm to 2pm (so we need to rest before 11pm- redundant) The doctor also said that it is important to stop drinking. Last night, I did follow the health plan I made ( for more details please take a look at the . Although I did not go to bed before (before what?), I did turn in 1.5 hours earlier than I used to. Tonight, I will do as the doctor said. How about you?

Written Exercise 47 - Night Owls, It Is Time To Change! Staying up late often is not only a bad habit but is also an unhealthy lifestyle. I have been staying up late since the end of last year. I did not go to bed until 2AM last night. I woke up at 7am yesterday morning but I did not get up until noon. Based on my calculation, I only recorded 16 instances of me going to bed before 11pm in the past 3 months. I realize that I am living an unhealthy lifestyle. I tell myself that I should change from now onwards and I need to regain my healthy lifestyle. I happened to watch a TV programme this afternoon on ” How to protect our livers”. A traditional Chinese medicine doctor who was invited on the TV programme said that it is important to go to bed early, better if it is before 11pm because our livers work and recover from 11pm to 2pm, which is the reason why we need to rest before 11pm. The doctor also said that it is important to stop drinking. Last night, I followed my own the health advice (For more details, please take refer to the . ) Although I did not go to bed before 11pm, I went to bed 1.5 hours earlier than I normally do . Tonight, I will be doing what the doctor advocated. How about you?
