▪ Lately we're seeing a huge increase in suicide rate and most of these suiciders are university students. There are many different reasons for which people commit suicide but the most common things are: depression, dissatisfaction, feeling one's life is totally meaningless, you name it. If I say suicide isn't the main and only solution for the problem, some people might get offended and say that if people weren't going through a hell of a lot of rough patches, they wouldn't commit suicide and also advice me to put myself in their shoes. I know I might not understand the feelings or what a suicidal person is going through, however, as a well wisher, I can give that guy a piece of advice. Before comitting suicide, the suicidal person should at least visit a hospital to see how the people, who are on their deathbeds, gasping for the last breath or people who have chronic diseases, whose days are numbered! The reason of giving this particular advice is to understand the value of life! Those people whose days are numbered, they know damn well how much valuable their life is! They fight gallantly with death just to live for a second. A suicidal person often thinks that taking his/her life can end their problem because life is meaningless to them! They forget how valuable their life is when they go through some rough patches and I think at that moment if they can be realized that how beautiful, valuable their life is through a moribund person I am damn sure they won't commit suicide. We should turn their "disgusted with life" into "loving own life". Hope, it can do some benefits in solving suicidal tendency.
