"Out of Reach" I watched documentary film about animals. There come sentences"The younger elephants passively achieved food from their mother. but now they are out of reach. " I may momerize wrongly. But what I am curious is about what does"Out of Reach" means based on different context and situations?

The elephant is not near her babies therefore she can't feed them. "I can't grab my cup is out of reach" (The cup is too far for me to grab it) "I want to date her but she's out of my reach" (I'm out of her league or she's too pretty/good for me)
