Thanks Andrew for your informative answer! 8 - 8.5 is quite high, i didnt expect that. I think that i missed the minimum limit of 150 words ( i got around 145), i will remember it for the ielts.

With a quick skim of your writing, I could spot only one tiny mistake - a missing apostrophe. Having said that, I don't think the first sentence reads quite right. I think you should say that the table gives information about the market share of the computer manufacturers HP, Dell etc. Are you sure that you have used enough words for the exercise? (there is a minimum word limit).... I haven't got time to count but your report on the table seems fairly brief. Overall, I would think that you could expect a good score with this piece of work - perhaps as high as 8 or 8.5 as you have addressed the task, you have used good, appropriate vocabulary and there are very few mistakes - make sure you have definitely written enough words for the exercise though, otherwise you will lose marks for not fulfilling the task.

Answer: The table gives information about the computer market of the manufacturers HP, Dell, Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo, Fujitsu-Siemens and other manufacturers in the years 2006 and 2007. The main manufacturer in 2006 was HP with a share of 31.4%. The company was followed by Dell, which had a 14.8% lower market share with 16.6%. Acer was third with 11.6%, followed by Lenovo with 6.6%, Toshiba with 6.2% and Fijtsu with 4.8%. All other manufacturers had a combined market share of 22.8%. In 2007, Dell had the highest market share growth with 3.8%, followed by HP with 3.6% and Toshiba with 0.9%. Lenovo and Fujitsu-Siemens lost 0.4% and 2.5% respectively while all other manufacturers share went down to 19.3%. Overall, there were only small differences between 2006 and 2007, with HP having the highest market share of all manufacturers and Dell having the highest growth.
