In US English, at least in my part of the country, we would say: "Which is the platform for the inbound trains?" Train: A train is a set of cars pulled by a locomotive. Track: The train goes on a track. The track is made of two steel rails connected by hundreds of wooden sleepers. Platform: you stand on the platform while you wait for the train. When the train arrives, you step off the platform and board the train. Station: A station is where trains stop. My train station has two platforms, one for the inbound trains and one for the outbound trains. The big terminal in Boston, South Station, has a dozen platforms.
