It is the most expensive car in my family. "It is the most expensive car in my family." Is this sentence correct? I just feel it's a little odd, but I don't know what the problem is. Do you native speakers think this sentence is natural? If not, how should I revise it? Thanks!

Hi there. As Naeemah says it is correct. As Tony says "It is the most expensive carwhich my family owns" is actually better English. However, if you want to sound 'natural' rather than 100% correct I would answer this way: Most people would use "It's" rather than "It is" in speech. The most natural would be "It's the most expensive car my family owns." or "It's my family's most expensive car."
