Senteces with "whose" Hi guys! A doubt popped into my head as I was studying how to use "whose", and I just couldn't find the answer, so here it goes: What's the difference between this two sentences below?: "Whose car is this?" "Whose is this car?" It seems quite similar for me, but I want to be sure if there's no difference in meaning or usage between these two sentences.

While both are technically correct, only the first one is natural English. The second one would seem to be a translation from another language.
