Hello Giovanni, One of the better grammar books is English Grammar in Use by Murphy. It has a page of explanation followed by a page of exercises. I suspect that you would need the intermediate level book. Another possible alternative to look at is fairly new to the market - Grammarway - which has a more modern layout and I think is in 4 levels - again look at the intermediate level (2 or 3 I think) And don't forget that if you really don't get something then you can post a question here.
