"존"
I know that 谢谢 means thank you - but what does 谢谢哦 mean? Thanks! Here is the context: I sent an article for my friend to read. She said: 好,我去看,谢谢哦。 So, I'm asking, what does 谢谢哦 mean? Also, 我去看 - does it mean she "has" read it (past tense) or does it mean she is "going to" read it (future tense)? Thanks for your help :-)

我去看 is I'm going to look at it and 哦 is like 啦, 喔, 哟 - it's a noise that lots of folks in China add to everything. It just sounds a bit more authentic. Although I might be wrong...

You can understand it as something like "..., man" (Thanks man!). Although in this case, it's more likely to be used by females, as it sounds cute (at least to Chinese ears).

@David A. Jones has explained them. In addition,我去看=我 马上/等会 去看 (future tense)(would this be easier for you to understand?) As for 谢谢哦,as a native speaker,I think your friend wants to express his/her thanks more politely or tries to be more friendly. For me,谢谢哦 is more casual than 谢谢,between friends,I tend to use 谢谢哦 to express my thanks, and 谢谢 sometimes can be a little formal. On the other hand, 哦 in 谢谢哦 can be a kind of tone weakening or weak tone, it serves as making formal word(s) less formal. Hope my explanation help:)
