How do you say "Chinese New Year" in Chinese I know how to say "Happy New Year" I think, but I want to know what the actual holiday is called. (It's "新年快乐", right?) Also, if you know it in both Mandarin AND Cantonese, I would really love to know ^^ Thank you!!

Southern China: 恭喜發財 A more elegant way:新年進步 Be advised that 春節 is a relatively new term in the Chinese language and is not used in Hong Kong.
