Can anybody check my text in English for mistakes? Thanks The text: "It is almost the year, since I came to the United States. It was the best year in my life. I appreciate people, that I met here. Everybody who helped me that time, should know, that I remember everything and I will remember your important influence in my life forever. I want to say, that I love you, guys! And I am very appreciate, that you were in my life. Thank you for everything!" I am still here)))) P.s. I wrote on Notebook. Thanks!

This might be better over on NOTEBOOK. Easier to correct there. But... One comment: What is the timeline here? I'm not sure if you are still IN the States! For example, do you mean, "It is almost a year since I came here. It has been the best year of my life." ??? You are still there. Or have you left, as is suggested by, "... everybody who HELPED me (at) THAT time..." This sounds like a completed PAST event, and you are not there now. I think if you need to make it clearer if you are still there or have gone home.

Then "It WAS the best year of my life" might be better as "It HAS BEEN the best year of my life." Check it through. Perhaps there are other places that the PAST simple might be better as the PRESENT perfect.
