How do you pronounce the diphthong "yw"? Sorry! I forgot to add this to the other question. Clywed and rhywbeth If I remember correctly, words like clywed sound like "cluh-wed" while rhybeth sounds like "rhyuu-beth"

In my dialect (north-west Wales) I pronounce them as "w". So phonetically, I would pronounce clywed as “clwad” or “clw-wad” and rhywbeth as “rwbath”.

I'm not a native Welsh speaker, but I was always told to pronounce it like 'oh', kind of. So, 'Clywed' would be like 'Cl-oh-ed' or 'Rh-oh-beth'
