Yes, it, all makes sense. Just add "the" to your sentences to make them grammatically correct. 1) For example: "Pollution is caused by the manufacturing industry emitting gases (into the atmosphere)" 2) Pollution is caused by the emission of gases into the air by factories 3) Pollution is caused by vehicles ejecting exhaust fumes 4) Pollution is caused by Man littering into rivers and soil 5) Pollution is caused by Man throwing away waste into landfills (although I might add ...throwing away excessive amounts of waste..." ) 6) Pollution is caused by Man producing loud noise when constructing buildings and roads (Okay~)

Pollution is caused by The emission of gases into the air by factories (Correct) Vehicles ejecting exhaust fumes (We do not use "ejecting" for fumes, as "ejecting" means to forcefully expel something from a place. Suggestion: Vehicles emitting exhaust fumes.) Man literring rivers and soil (We can't litter rivers. Neither can we litter soil. Some prepositions are missing as there is a direction involved. Suggestion: Man littering in rivers and on land.) Man throwing away waste into landfills (Suggestion: Man throwing waste into landfills.) Man producing loud noise when constructing buildings and roads (Suggestion: Man causing noise pollution when constructing buildings and road.)
