Help(please) Hi, there Please, could you help me? In a motivational video, a man said: "Nobody wants you to succeed. Your brain doesn't want you to succeed. It will trick you. You are your worst enemy. I know If I fail to do that, that I am not instilling those habits, that's going to have a big-picture long-term goal... Success is about just quiet little actions. It is a very quiet process where you are just drawing your state from within yourself doing these like simple little tasks. No one is going to put you on. You gotta put yourself on." What does "that's going to have a big-picutre long-term goal" mean in this context? What about "draw your state from within" and "put you on"? Thank you very much!

When you "take a step back and look at the big picture" you get a better view of what you're looking at. I believe he's shortening those phrases to mean take everything into consideration and know that it will take a while to accomplish the end goal. To "draw from your state within" I believe means to look inside yourself for positive motivation. I've never heard of "put you on", but an online search makes it seem like he's using it in a different context. My guess is that he wants to say, "No one is going to do it for you. You have to do it yourself." It's a bit hard to determine without more context, but I hope that helps.
