The active voice and passive voice
The original sentence is like:
His sales accounts for most of the total sales of the company.
Can I change it into passive voice like this:
Most of the total sales of the company is accounted from his sales.
Many thanks.
In my opinion you can’t. “Account for” is a phrasal verb and follows a fixed pattern.
Also, I would write “His sales ACCOUNT (no “s”) for most of the total sales of the company”, since “sales” is plural.

You could also restate to the following: "The majority of the company's total sales is derived from his contribution to the same."
