Help(please) Hi, there Could you please help me? Please 1) Would you use "it" in these sentences? Do you say "Yesterday it was one month since he got fired" or "Yesterday was one months since he got fired"?.... And "Today is/has been one year since I've been here" or "Today it is/has been one year since I've been here"? 2) Do you have to repeat the verb in this sentence? 1) 'He got fired a month ago yesterday.' would be a more natural way to say it.

If you want to use "it" though you can say "It's been a month ago yesterday since he got fired."

2) "It's exactly a year today since I've been here."

3) "This blow will hurt you more than me."
