Critically discuss this assertion from a resource-based perspective and with reference to the entrepreneurial value chain. In this question, what is the resource-based perspective? Is this regarding social capital and human capital? what is entrepreneurial value chain? As said before, "resource-based" is a technical term used by Patrick Firkin - If I read him right, resources are all conditions which make entrepreneurs successful. I would say for short, that in Africa, e-commerce plays a much bigger role than in more developed parts of the world, because it can be substitute for infrastructure that is missing. Some examples: - If you do not have a car and no land line telephone, a mobile phone can save you days walking around. - If you don't have a bank in a village, e-commerce is the only way to access your bank account.
