Throwing knives like sport. Is it legal in Japan and China? Throwing knives like sport and entertainment is legal in many English-speaking countries. I’d like to be sure is it legal in China and Japan? I’m a bit afraid of the fact that some people can think about it like a crime activity, if somebody has it in his or her profile’s hobby list. Is there societies, competitions, and rules, or usual practice... So, what’s your answer?

I'm afraid only some special trades are allowed to do it like sports in China, such as circus, martial performance, etc. Otherwise throwing knives in public is deemed as an illegal activity. But you mentioned societies, yes, there might be some martial fanciers, or darts lovers' societies..

Throwing knives doesn't seem to be a popular activity in my homeland...(I'm Taiwanese.) But I don't think that it is a crime activity. That sounds like a part of China martial arts. And some Chinese also throw knives as their hobby.
