Regarding to my four shipments, I couldn’t solve or impact somehow on this situation being on vacation. I can’t find out now if there were any options to solve the issue. But there is no doubts, that we could have avoided this issue if I had received amendments from the carrier website. In spite of this circumstances, I tried to do everything to protect these orders and deliver the cargo in time. Of course, I asked the carrier for earlier vessel and received updates. But truckers probably could not catch those closings anyway. The huge extra costs for demurrage will probably be reflected somehow on me.
