I had a English class this morning via Zoom. Before it started, the teacher said "My son is almost an adult." And I said "How old is he?" The teacher said "He will turn 18 (on?) next August." I should have said more to continue the conversation, but I had no sentence anymore. But, I might say "How do you feel about he is growing up?" now.

I should have said more to continue the conversation, but I had no more sentences I could use. But, I might have said "How do you feel about the fact that he is almost grown up now?"
I hope you will soon be able to continue conversations. Well done!
