Although it may be true that automobiles have gave some negative effects on the environment, their benefits are especially valuable. There are two reasons: promoting the interaction of each local cultures and providing some human relationships. Car traffic promoted some culture interaction. First, local culture , which is that had never known and weren't introduced for people living other areas, car traffic made it easily to sharing culture with many people. Secondly, experiencing the culture, for example Yosakoi-festival in Kochi prefecture. It's traditional local dance festival in summer at Kochi prefecture. But, many people from other prefecture or from abroad are join and enjoying it every summer thanks to car traffic. It's the emblem of that car traffic is the exportation of people and culture. Lastly, it promoted emotions which born between human to human, for example friendships, sadness of farewell, and long distance relationships. It maybe unique emotion it only humans can feel. It also said long distance make more deepen human relationships. For all of these reasons, I think that the automobiles have been a beneficial invention for human.
