Having a background in Languages and Linguistic studies, combined with the practical aspect of my job as a flight attendant, gave me the chance to analyze how people get to learn and acquire a new language.
The greatest advice I can give someone who wants to learn a new language is: "BE MOTIVATED AND INSPIRED!"
Learning a new language is not something that can be done overnight! It requires consistency and discipline and the only way to keep that going is by having fun while doing it.
For the last three years I've been privately teaching dozens of students and my approach so far never failed me. I really enjoyed my time with my students and I always had some great feedbacksMy lessons & teaching style
I like creating a nice, comfortable and friendly environment with my "students" where we both enjoy the time we are spending together.
"If we really need to spend some time studying, we might as well doing it in a funny way. Don't we?"
I try to simplify the grammar as much as I can and put it right into practice in order for the student to really understand what a given rule or construction is used for.
I really believe in the power of contextualization and role-playing because the language is highly affected by the situation in which the situation is happening. This encourages conversating, stimulates the student to find new ways to communicate and understanding the several nuancesMy teaching material
