About Me

Hello! I am Elif from Istanbul, Turkey. I am a senior student of Psychology. I am a native Turkish speaker who also speaks English very well. I speak a little bit of French, too and I am learning Spanish nowadays. I am a kind and approachable person, and I am also very organized. I love meeting people from different cultures and sharing experiences. My hobbies include literature and sports, so I would love to talk with you about these. Hope to meet you soon!

Me as a Teacher

I am a very detail-oriented teacher, and a patient, understanding person. So, do not hesitate to ask me anything. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable by including videos, songs, news articles, etc. I have many hobbies such as sport, cooking, literature, so I believe we would have lots of discussion material, for your Turkish learning experience. My lessons & teaching style

I believe the teaching experience should be tailored specifically for each learner, so I promise to be flexible. My main mode of teaching is carrying out casual conversations, as I believe this is a nice way to learn a language well. I am a careful and detail-oriented person, so I will point out important vocabulary or grammatical structures during our conversations, as well as making you realize and correct your mistakes. Also, we can enrich our classes with movie, video, book, song suggestions. On the other hand, if you would like a more structured or intense learning experience, I can prepare written summaries of what we have done each day, quizzes, and homeworks.
