Hello, my name is Ariel from Angola currently living in portugal.… who am I again?
I tutor English and Portuguese as a freelancer, and that experience has helped me understand how to keep students engaged.
I enjoy learning new languages because I enjoy travelling, seeing new places, and connecting with people; therefore, I understand exactly where you are.Me as a Teacher
being a language student, too, has made me feel like putting myself in students' shoes
I always make my lessons interesting for my students by providing memory games and classes that are simple to grasp, and I make sure that they feel one step closer to becoming fluent.My lessons & teaching style
if you are a new student, please be aware that i test new students first before giving them a lesson
the test consists of the following:
Listening skills
Speaking/pronunciation skills
Grammar and more
Which will help me know which area we must focus on and adjust the lessons according to each student.
My lessons consist of conversational exercises.
If you’d like to have lessons with the camera off, I’m okay with that.
If a slot you desire is unavailable, please feel free to rearrange something with me; I only do weekend lessons under requests.

I want to give a big thank you to Ariel for the great Portuguese lessons. This is my third lesson with her and so far I am enjoying them a lot. In every lesson, she had prepared a variety of interesting questions that we talked about. Not only did they help me learn Portuguese, but they also made me think deep about various topics such as beauty, charities, communities etc. She is kind and supportive and gives me encouraging and constructive feedback. I can highly recommend taking lessons with her.
