Whilst living in Germany I was working as a private Japanese language tutor. It was a truly rewarding experience to see the progresion of my students' Japanese language skills.
Throughout university, I was tutoring a younger student to assist with maths, english and science.
At first it was difficult for me since he had no interest in these subjects. I tried a different approach to tutoring, this resulted in an overall improvement on his grades.My lessons & teaching style
In my class I would like to use みんなの日本語 or Marugoto(まるごと)A1 Katudou(活動), these text books for begginers to learn basic and useful Japanese.
Or I can teach you how to speak Japanese naturally based on conversational practice. The goal of this practice is how to respond quickly and naturally.
I can constructfully criticize and correct your mistakes and put them in writing, allowing you to do further study independently.
I am flexible with your needs and we can discuss how you would like to learn based on your personal preference. I can suggest methods with your Japanese level in the first class.
I like to give homework at the end of every session and review it in the next session.

Kanako speaks English very well, which makes explanations easy. If you don't do conversational lessons, you can send pictures of your textbook and check over your homework or work through the problems in the book with her.
