Atuo na área de pesquisa e ensino de línguas estrangeiras desde 2017. Comecei na equipe de proficiência em inglês na Universidade de São Paulo e atualmente trabalho com inglês como segundo língua numa escola de educação básica. Conclui duas pesquisas de graduação na área de letramentos no ensino de língua estrangeira e história da tradução. | I have been working in the field of research and teaching of foreign languages since 2017. I started in the English proficiency team at the University of São Paulo, and now I work with English as a second language in a private school. I've completed two undergraduate researches in the field of literacy in foreign language and translation studies.My lessons & teaching style
Para ensinar gramática eu recorro à linguística de corpus para poder montar exercícios com textos autênticos. Entretanto, não me limito às produções escritas, pois trabalho com a pedagogia dos multiletramentos, ou seja, reconheço que as imagens, sons e vídeos são capazes de produzir discursos e significados. Portanto, mesclo a aula com diversos aspectos culturais que aparecem nas produções artísticas para ensinar aspesctos gramáticas e praticar a comunicação. To teach grammar I use corpus linguistics to assemble exercises with authentic texts. I mix the class with cultural aspects that appear in artistic productions (images, videos, songs)to teach grammar aspects and practice communication.My teaching material

Luiza is absolutely amazing! She exceeded my expectations. I asked to learn a specific topic and she did better than I could have asked for. I highly recommend classes with Luiza. She will make you feel comfortable and help you learn. Her English is amazing so even if you are a beginner, you do not need to feel nervous if you think you won't be able to express yourself in Portuguese. Schedule classes with her...but just don't request the times that I want to schedule with her ;-)

Learning English with Luiza was a lot of fun for me. We talked to each other about many things, which made the lesson really interesting and interactive. She is a very kind, cheerful and beautiful teacher. I highly recommend her.
