Hi there ! My name is Benoit, but you can call me Ben. I've been living in Laos since 5 years, in the beautiful city of Luang Prabang. I work in the tourism industry : I have a boat that I designed and built here, and I organize leisure cruises on the mighty Mekong River ! My wife is Lao, she's a chef and she has her own restaurant in town. I also have a little boy, his name is Louis, and he already speaks better in Lao than me !! After 10 years working in Paris (project management), I went to travel in South America, and then in South East Asia. I literally felt in love with my current city Luang Prabang, and decided to settle here !

Me as a Teacher

I am a native French speaker based in Luang Prabang in Laos. As your teacher, I can help you practice French, so contact me whenever you want ! I am also fluent in english, and comfortable in spanish. Concerning lao language, my level would be A2, still learning and getting used to the tonal system of speaking !

My lessons & teaching style

I’ll be here to help you improve your french. First thing we'll do is to test your level by talking together. Then you'll tell me what you are looking for. This can be : - Preparing for DELF (levels A1 to B2) - Preparing for TCF - Casually chatting in french - Improving your written or spoken skills - Correcting your written productions - Preparing a trip or a moving to France or to a french speaking country (basic vocabulary and sentences) - Preparing a job interview Example of specialized subjects : - Conversation - Phonetic and pronunciation - Vocabulary improvement - Cuisine - Hospitality and Tourism industry
