About Me

Hi, my name is Oratile K and I would like to help you become better at speaking the English language. I am from South Africa and I am a Native English Speaker. I have a Bachelors Degree as well as a TESOL certificate, I also have 2 years of teaching experience. I enjoy meeting new people and having conversations about anything and everything. I am interested in learning about different cultures which is why I enjoy traveling. My hobbies include being outdoors and exploring new adventures with friends and family.

Me as a Teacher

Teaching is my passion because I enjoy imparting my knowledge onto others and watching my students become better at the English language really fulfils me. I know that learning a new language can be challenging so I encourage my students to make mistakes because making mistakes is how we learn new things. I am patient and encourage my students to stop me during the lesson if they have any questions.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons focus mainly on grammar, pronunciation as well as articulation but I am open to finding out which aspects the student struggles with so we can focus more on that. I believe it is easier to learn a new language by having normal conversations, so my lessons will be based on topics that are relatable and allows the student to be confident and comfortable to speak more about. My teaching style is relaxed and casual, I prefer my students to feel as comfortable as possible. My lesson content will vary depending on the level of understanding of each student, but all of them will be relatable and will be able things that are easy to discuss.
