About Me

I have completed training as a German teacher for all levels of learners (A1-C2), teaching grammar, pronunciation, speaking, writing and listening with a tested and tried communication-based approach (more speaking time for students!). Another main focus as a teacher has been on preparing young professionals for job interviews in German or on helping them to write their cv for job applications. I fluently speak English and Italian and have studied several other languages. This is giving me a good understanding of how these languages are structured and I can understand the challenges native speakers are facing when learning German.My lessons & teaching style
My approach is relaxed but goal-oriented. I want each lesson to be fully tailored to the individual needs of my student. Furthermore, I want my students to have fun learning German without losing sight of their objectives. Therefore, my lessons are well-structured but they always include fun-moments (e.g. communication games, conversation about favourite topics) and inspiring materials (podcasts, job postings, newspaper articles, book extracts). Course materials will be selected based on the individual interests of each student. My goal is to build up my students' confidence by creating a safe and positive environment where it is ok to make mistakes.My teaching material
