About Me

My name is Busisiwe, I am from Cape Town in South Africa. I am a UCT graduate, I hold an undergraduate degree in Industrial Sociology and plan on study further. UCT is the top university in Africa and is ranked amongst the top universities in the world. I enjoy hiking and spending time with my family and friends. I love teaching and have taught in high school I was tutoring Accounting to my peers. In 2019 I was a volunteer at Litoro Foundation where I was tutoring accounting and English to students. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life.

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher I consider teaching a learning experience, I like creating an environment that is conducive for learning. An environment where the mental health of the student is first priority, I like an environment that is interactive.

My lessons & teaching style

I consider myself as a community tutor, this is because I don't specialize in the academic curriculum. I enjoy teaching people different ways of expressing themselves through communication. I am a hybrid teacher, this means that I integrate the curriculum teaching style with my interests and student's interests. My lessons are mostly focused on the basic principles of communication. My lessons are flexible, they are able to accommodate different people in different fields.
