Practice conversational Japanese
italki teacher since Dec 12, 2021
My name is Nami and I am Japanese.
I was born and raised in Japan.
When I was a university student, I went to Canada to study English. Then I moved to England for work and stayed there for many years.
Through my experiences, I have come to understand how fun and difficult it is to learn languages.
Me as a Teacher
I have experience in teaching Japanese for children and I enjoyed it very much.
What I think the most important thing in learning language is enjoying and continuing studying.
My lessons & teaching style
In my lesson, you can practice casual and formal Japanese conversation, and I will correct your grammar mistakes and pronunciation.
I also would like to help you improve your listening and writing.
I will do my best to meet your requirements about how and what you would like to study.
You are welcome to talk with me about any subject.
I am also happy to teach you not only the language but also Japanese culture, food and so on!
Let's have fun learning together!

Nami is a friendly and supportive teacher. She is patient and easy to talk with, and provides help with vocabulary and grammar in both written and oral format whenever needed. I enjoyed talking with Nami, and I hope to talk with her again. Thanks, Nami!

Nami, ありがとうございました！ First Lesson with Nami was great! Good conversation and was good at helping with new words I did not know. She also offered some additional help that she could do in future lessons which I think is great.
